Project goal and objectives The goal of the project is to enlarge availability of HIV/AIDS prevention services for injecting drugs users in Jekabpils city and region. Project objectives are recruit outreach worker and  provide him with necessary equipment and informative materials as well as to provide Jekabpils "low threshold center" with necessary equipment.
Results
  • Increase the number of clients (average 10 per day), number of distributed syringes (average 700 per month), number of performed HIV tests (average 46 per year).
  • Outreach worker recruited and provided with necessary equipment and informative materials.
