Project title

"Improvement of life quality for people living with HIV and AIDS through health and social care"

Project goal and objectives To control HIV prevalence and reduce its harmful consequences on each individual and whole society.
Results
  • Developed joint 15 class education program with psychiatrists;
  • 197 inmates have participated in training;
  • 117 employees have participated in training;
  • 80 inmates motivated to undergo HIV testing;
  • Project personnel have participated in seminars and trainings organized by UNODC;
  • Project personnel have shared knowledge and experience with colleagues from other prisons;
  • Premises have been repaired and equipped.
