Project goal and objectives

The main objectives of the project are:

  • To increase the coverage of HIV prevention services among youth;
  • To broaden the scope of the harm reduction program.
Results Increased coverage of HIV prevention services among youth:
  • average number of reached clients (till 25 years old) per month at the beginning of project - 3, at the end - 9 (planned 8);
  • average number of reached regular clients per month at the beginning of project - 16, at the end - 29 (planned 30).
Increased number of distributed syringes, condoms and performed HIV tests:
  • number of distributed syringes per month at the beginning of project - 100, at the end - 413 (planned 200);
  • number of distributed condoms per month at the beginning of project - 80, at the end - 92 (planned 160);
  • number of performed HIV tests per year at the beginning of project 5, at the end - 35 (planned 20).
Carried out consultations for youth till 35 years: number of performed consultations per month at the beginning of project - 0, at the end - 22 (planned 16).
