The main goal of the project is to strengthen and develop services outside the traditional settings to reach hidden drug users' population and involve them into HIV prevention and drug users' treatment programmes and to strengthen and scale-up HIV prevention among current prisoners. During the project implementation Charity and Support Fund "Vilties švyturys" purchased a minibus for provision of mobile harm reduction services. Every Saturday the services were provided for IDUs in Vilnius City near Rome community and since March, 2008 services were provided in Visaginas town every second week. The following services were provided: needle and syringe exchange, distribution of disinfectants, condoms, bandages health teaching and education, information provision, consultations, wound binding, transportation services, mediation and representations, providing tea, coffee and biscuits during consultations. In total 46 visits to Vilnius and 10 visits to Visaginas took place. The vehicle was also used to go to the Marijampolė Correction House to provide psychologist's and social worker's consultations for IDUs in prison settings and to motivate them to stop using drugs.
