Practical training for the Kyrgyz Customs Officers

Two weeks practical training for 15 Kyrgyz Custom officers was conducted at Customs Office "Alamedin-Jeleznodorjnyi" in Bishkek within the UNODC-WCO Container Control Programme.WCO, Polish and Georgian Customs experts facilitated the training including practical cases on identification of high-risk shipments by profiling of documents. 

Opening the workshop, Mr. Shamil Berdaliev, Deputy Chairman of the State Custom Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic emphasized the importance of strengthening the capacity of customs officers for being able to respond to modern challenges.
