Database of Legislation
An electronic repository of laws relevant to the requirements of the Organized Crime Convention and the Protocols thereto. Most of the legislation included in this database has been enacted specifically to counter the relevant crime type. For more information click here.
Directory of competent national authorities that have been designated to receive, respond and process requests pertaining to mutual legal assistance, extradition and transfer of sentenced prisoners, smuggling of migrants and trafficking in firearms.
An annotated bibliography providing a synopsis of key articles that are search-able by countries, research methods and keywords. The database is under development and currently includes research on migrant smuggling.

24 April 2014 - UNODC has received an award for consumer awareness from the US Chamber of Commerce for its most recent campaign on counterfeit goods and the link that these products have to organized criminal networks. Launched in January 2014, the campaign, 'Counterfeit: Don't buy into organized crime', highlights the significant issues raised by the $250 billion a year illicit trafficking of counterfeit goods.

14 January 2014 - A new global campaign has been launched by UNODC to raise awareness among consumers of the $250 billion a year illicit trafficking of counterfeit goods.
On October 28, 2013, UNODC introduced the knowledge management portal SHERLOC to the participants of the 7th session of the Working Group of Government Experts on Technical Assistance in Vienna.
