Agricultural Cooperative of the Pacific
Legally established on 5 November 1989, the cooperative now has some 200 associates who are coconut cultivators and constitute twenty percent of all the cultivators of Tumaco. The annual production of coconut from Tumaco reaches 6200 tons, making it the major producer of the country.

Coconut from Tumaco can be found in the supermarket chains of Carrefour in Colombia.
The coconut is sold in four different ways: Rasped, dried, crystallized and covered in chocolate.
