" ... The linkage of
injecting drug use with HIV/AIDS is yet another important aspect. The behavioural study of drug injectors suggests that they are most vulnerable to HIV transmission. Mostly migrant labour, young school drop outs and socially uprooted people are prone to drug abuse. The linkage between drug abuse and HIV/AIDS should be taken seriously and a comprehensive strategy be evolved to focus on drug injectors and make them aware of the deadly consequences. ..."
