UNODC, ROSA in collaboration with the Department of Narcotic Control, Ministry of Home Affairs, Bangladesh and Dhaka Ahsania Mission has recently conducted the second National Training Programme to address HIV prevention amongst incarcerated substance users from 14th to 17th of January 2008 at BIAM foundation, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Total 25 participants comprising senior/middle level officers drawn from Prisons, Police, Ministry of Home Affairs, Drug Control Programme and Non-governmental organizations participated in the National Training Programme.

The Resource Persons were drawn from the master trainers trained at the Regional TOT/National training, senior Ministry Officials dealing with Prison, drug and HIV prevention, NGOs and PLHAs.
The participants and the senior officials expressed their interest to take this training programme to different prisons with the help of participants of the National training programme.
Bangla version of the Peer-guide published by UNODC, ROSA was extensively used in the National Training Programme.
