Mr. Christian Kroll, Global Coordinator for HIV/AIDS, UNODC headquarters, was on a two days' mission to India from 6th to 9th November 2008. During his visit to UNODC ROSA office, he addressed ROSA staff and emphasized, in particular, on the collaboration among the members of UN family for prevention of HIV among injecting drug users and prison settings.
Speaking on the occasion of Oral Substitution Treatment (OST) rollout for drug dependants, in Tihar prisons, N. Delhi, India, on 7 November 2008, he extended complete support from UN family to the Prison administration in making the Tihar jail a best practice model.
