UNODC NCB Partnership
The cause of June 26 2008 was further espoused through the partnership between UNODC and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB.) A series of events were organized across the 9 NCB Zonal in Indian states such as Assam, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, Jammu, Chandigarh, West Bengal and Chennai . Under this partnership, a bilingual poster emphasising the illegal aspect of drug trafficking was created and widely disseminated. Street plays in collaboration with Asmita Arts Group were also organized at different locations at Delhi.
The play dwelt on the message for young people is to make healthy choices, stay away from drugs and not to play with the law. Materials such as leaflets, posters, 'I decide badges and bands were shared with the 9 zonal offices of NCB.
