Home Secretary of Nepal, Mr. Umesh Mainali inaugurating the function
Training Programme: National training programme to address "HIV prevention amongst incarcerated substance users", 21-25 Aug 2006, Kathmandu.
This training aims to sensitise prison officials on issues pertaining to drugs and HIV in prison settings.
Inauguration of the programme: The function was inaugurated by the Home Secretary of Nepal, Mr. Umesh Mainali on 21 Aug, 2006.
Training Programme: National Training programme to address "HIV prevention amongst substance using street children", 28 Aug-1 Sept 2006, Nepal.
This training aims to train peer outreach workers on the knowledge, attitude and skills required to become effective 'agents of change' for substance using street children. It will focus on 'how to' deliver key messages on drugs, HIV and life skills.
Training Programme: National Training programme to address "HIV prevention amongst injecting drug users", 2-6 Sept 2006, Nepal.
This training aims to train service providers on various issues concerning IDUs like prevention, risk reduction, care and support, HIV counseling etc.
