Project H60 in collaboration with National Dangerous Drugs Control Board, organized an intensive 2- day training program on precursor chemical control from 27-28 March 2008 at Colombo, Sri Lanka. 26 officials from the Police, Customs, Excise and lab analysts participated in the training programme.

The training also included a Computer Based Training module. The participants gave a Computer Based Test in groups before the program and individual written tests at the close of the training. The scores obtained by them were indicative of their high level of understanding.

A meeting was organized with the representatives of the industry and trade in Sri Lanka on 29 March 2008 to encourage them for adopting a Voluntary Code of Conduct to prevent diversion of precursor chemicals from the licit trade.
