Road to the Twelfth United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice

Bandung (Indonesia), 22 February 2010 - On 18 February 2010, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia organized an International Seminar in Bandung (West Java) as part of Indonesia's preparation to the Twelfth Crime Congress in Brazil, in April 2010.

On behalf on UNODC, Mr. Ajit Joy, Crime Prevention Expert, presented a paper on - Comprehensive strategies for global challenges: crime prevention and criminal justice systems and their development in a changing world.

Ministry of Labor and Transmigration, Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Children Protection, Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare, Ministry of Home Affairs, Indonesian National Police, Secretariat of Interpol, Attorney General Office, Supreme Court, Financial Transactions Report and Analysis Centre, National Narcotic Boards, and National Development and Planning Agencies were also present at the seminar.
