Second Quarterly Review Meeting with the European Union Presidency and Mini Dublin Group Embassies

The Finnish Presidency of the European Union (EU), the UK Mini Dublin Group (MDG) Chairmanship in Iran and UNODC organized jointly the Second Quarterly Review Meeting on 31 July 2006. A total of 18 representatives from the Mini Dublin Group (MDG) and European Union (EU) member Embassies, including the Ambassadors of Belgium, Norway and Switzerland, took part in the initiative.

The meeting was aimed at briefing and updating the donor community on the status of the UNODC projects under the Rule of Law component of the UNODC Programme for Iran with particular reference to the project on "Assistance in the promotion of the reform process of the Judiciary and the Prison System in the I.R. of Iran" (IRN/S03) funded by the European Commission and the Government of the Netherlands.
