Welcome to the new website of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Country Office in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Since the establishment of its Country Office in Tehran in 1999, UNODC has been working to support national efforts against drugs and crime by promoting international standards and United Nations best practices, as well as by facilitating bilateral, regional and international technical cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Our new website is meant to provide information in both English and Farsi on our role and work in the country. In addition to a brief history of our office and its achievements over time, we are pleased to announce the launch of a new UNODC integrated country programme of technical cooperation on drugs and crime in the Islamic Republic of Iran (2011-14). Our website also offers several resources and publications produced by the UNODC country office.
We will continuously improve this website to give you the latest updates on our activities and recent developments in the areas under our mandate. Any suggestions you may have to enhance our website would be warmly welcomed.
