National Drug Control System

The presentation was followed by a discussion focused on the possibilities of implementing NDS within the countries of the region.  The discussion was concluded with a statement from all the governments participating in the meeting that NDS is a mature system that fulfills the urgent need for an information system for licit drug control.  It has been agreed anonymously by all the participants that NDS must be implemented within the region as soon as possible and a comprehensive training workshop on using NDS for the governments of the region must be organized as soon as possible.
