NDS 4.0.4 is Available
The NDS team has prepared a new patch for NDS
4.0.x. The new patch addresses several issues on both the
database and application sides. You would need to have WinZip
application installed prior to applying the patch.
To upgrade your database, please do the following:
1. Download this zip file to your local hard
drive.
2. Unzip the patch file into a temp directory
3.Choose File ->Open from the sqlplus menu.
4. Go to Directory which contains all the sql files for e.g.. D:\SQL PATCH (where D: is the CD Drive)
5. Click on Cancel to come back to sql prompt.
6. At sql prompt type @PATCH and press enter. This will execute all the sql files in a specific order. After it finishes you will get a message that database is upgraded to NDS 4.0.4.
To upgrade your application, please do the following:
1.Download this zip file to your local hard
drive.
2.Close all applications.
3. Double click on Nds_40.zip.
4. If the application is installed on C:, then give C:\Program Files\NDS_40 as 'unzip to folder' else replace C: with the drive letter.
5. Run any one of the NDS applications and choose help -> about from the menu and check for
Version 4.0.4.
