||The Coalition for Community Participation in Governance is an NGO which undertakes training of Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) trainers, public education re hygiene and sanitation and assisting communities to find sanitation solutions. It also addresses issues of governance and community mobilization.
The Coalition for Community Participation in Governance is an alliance of several organizations which are committed to ensuring that the proposed reform of local government in Jamaica unfolds in such a way as to benefit communities. To that end the Coalition has convened public fora to create awareness as to the need for communities to become involved in the process. The Coalition is scheduled to undertake a series of cluster workshops across the island to bring communities into the process and a national workshop to come up with a plan of action.
