Short description:
Centre for Development and Democratization of Institutions (CDDI) is one of the leading organizations in Albania in its fight against corruption. CDDI contributes to the development and democratization of Albanian institutions and society, and to promote the process of European Integration of Albania. CDDI is known for its work in using the Freedom of Information Clause (FOI) as a tool to fight corruption in the Albanian Public Administration. Its work is concentrated on training public administrators, students and the media in how the FOI can help to fight corruption. Also CDDI, provides technical assistance to the public institutions on implementing FOI. Other activities included litigations with public bodies on regarding the FOI.
