Short description:
Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia is a multi-stakeholder association dedicated to support Indonesian initiatives aimed at supporting governance reform in Indonesia . The Partnership's Executive Office works with government agencies and institutions as well as community based and non-government institutions to advance the national reform agenda.
Partnership brings together the Indonesian Government, Legislature, Judiciary, Civil Society, and the Corporate Sector with the support of the International Community in initiating a long-term process to improve governance in Indonesia in a durable way. It expresses Indonesian ownership. One of the Partnership project themes is socialized UNCAC’s principles and mechanism as a new legal instruments in corruption eradicating at national level. With this regard, Partnership has been conducting several activities among others: Training on UNCAC for journalist, academicians, anti-corruption activist; formulation of CSO’s independent report on UNCAC implementation at national level; and facilitating formulation of anti-corruption bill of public version to be complied with UNCAC, and supporting government in formulating anti-corruption court bill. Partnership is also planning to conduct training on UNCAC for law enforcement apparatus. Partnership also plays an important role in coordinating NGOs which actively involve in the fight against corruption and legal reform.
