Short description:
HAWCA's establishment was motivated by the despair and devastation suffered by Afghan women and children as victims of war and injustice in Afghanistan and as refugees in Pakistan. HAWCA is providing free social services in the following fields for the women and children of Afghanistan:

HAAWC contributes to the development of a Peaceful, Developed and Self Sustaining And drug free Afghan Society
Through Providing, Drug prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and re integration services During one year period a total of 240 addicts inside the center (Residential) and 240 drug users in the communities have been treated and to around 3800 people of the communities provided awareness sessions regarding drugs harms and hazards. 40 addicts who completed their treatment courses, introduced to the vocational training programs in order to learn the skill in support their families. School students and teachers also received awareness regarding drugs harm. Besides of these activities, health staff of this organization treated prisoners inside the jail.
