Short description:
Al-monqith is a voluntary, humanitarian, independent, non-governmental organization working to apply the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and to expose the abuses committed against any person of his rights which were guaranteed by the international rights , laws and norms, and to prevent any type of violence committed against him. The organization has worked to promote a culture of integrity and combat corruption and participated in the implementation of the NATIONAL STRATEGY AGAINST CORRUPTION IN IRAQ (which arose on the basis of paragraph (1) of Article (5 ) of the United Nations Convention against Corruption in 2003), and it participated in the study of the legal gap between the national laws of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, and assistance in the development of rules and regulations that promote the fight against corruption. MHR has implemented 47 educational workshops for 2010 on the national strategy to combat corruption in Iraq and 13 workshops for this year so far.
