Short description:
PFP's mission is to promote healthy development of people, especially of youth, women, children and less privileged people through several programmes, activities and initiatives. Within these the individual shall be empowered by skills and knowledge in order to adopt a responsible behaviour aimed at promoting development.


PFP's achievements:
- Consultancy services for the Ministry of Education for designing and delivering of HIV and AIDS & environmental awareness programmes including drug abuse prevention for senior high schools in Ghana
- Integrated school health and water and sanitation project for schools in the Hohoe District
- Created the Youth friendly Centre Project (youth action against HIV/AIDS)
- Strengthening HIV/AIDS partnership in Education-SHAPE II Project (training teachers, parents and peer educators using an integrated approach)
- Capacity building for community leaders and NGO leaders on good governance
- Developing of HIV training module for high risk groups
- Community sensitization for HIV and AIDS treatment
- HIV and AIDS community sensitization, advocacy and capacity building for youth
- HIV and AIDS intervention in the educational sector: capacity building for peer educators
- Integrated HIV and AIDS drug abuse prevention
