||Lalenok Ba Ema Hotu (LABEH) means “the mirror of the people”. LABEH was officially founded on August 25, 2003. LABEH is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization with contact offices in 13 districts of Timor-Leste.

To work with people to promote transparency, integrity and accountability, to empower the Timorese people and engage them into the fight against corruption
To promote citizen participation in the fight against corruption and promote transparency, accountability and integrity in Timor-Leste
With the financial support from AusAID-Timor-Leste, LABEH has implemented several projects on Anti-Corruption and promotion of transparency and accountability. With support from the Finland Government, LABEH implemented a project “strengthening engagement of civil society and monitoring State budget”.
Also the support from Caritas Australia, LABEH implemented project on Education, Training and Capacity Development; and with support of ADB, LABEH’s representative participated the 14th International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) held in Bangkok in November 2010. With support of UNDP LABEH’s representative participated the 4th Integrity in Action (INTACT) Community of Practice Meeting held in Kathmandu, Nepal, on 12-14 October 2011. With support of TI, LABEH prepared its 5 year strategic plan and participated in TIAP Regional Program Meeting (RPM) in Malaysia in July 2011.
All these activities provided great opportunities for LABEH to deepen the knowledge about corruption issues and to expand network with other anti-corruption CSOs, both within and outside Timor-Leste. LABEH is on the process of becoming the National Contact of TI in Timor-Leste.
