||The mission of this NGO is to develop civil society in Georgia, promote healthy life-style, engage in educational activities and following issues dealing with drug users: protecting their rights, treatment, psycho-rehabilitation, prevention and advocacy. They care about based on law civil initiatives, psychological and legal assistance of citizens, creating healthy psychological and social conditions and civil education.
Therefore, our organization is active in following directions: psychological consultations and support of citizens, psycho-social rehabilitation and integration in society of people with such problems, managing educational projects, informing and engaging civil society in abovementioned activities.
The projects we have completed:
2009 - the project titled “Intervention for parents and teachers in prevention of the first experimental drug use among youth”, donor organization: The Civil Institutionalism Development Found (CIDF).
2010 - project “ Teaching conflict and emotional crisis management techniques to parents and teachers”, donor organization CIDF.
2010 – publishing brochure “How to protect our children from drug abuse”, donor organization Open Society – Georgia Foundation (OSGF).
Project “Intervention for parents and teachers in prevention of the first experimental drug use among youth” was stated as a best project in the annual report of CIDF.
Our organization has created a “parents network” (44 parents) who are interested to raise their children as healthy and educated citizens.
