Centre for youth Initiative on Self Education (CEYISED) is a non-governmental organization established to promote respect for human right, youth empowerment, gender equality and social justice in Nigeria. Since its establishment, CEYISED mission is to re-orientate youth towards self actualization of dreams and aspirations through positive developmental enterprise. CEYISED is headed by a young Executive Director. Since 2008, CEYISED with support from ICPC initiated youth against corruption project tagged “Catch the young initiative” which included organizing capacity building workshops on leadership, transparency and accountability for youths, youth based organizations and secondary school students. In 2010, CEYISED launched the catch them young initiative leadership competition and future leader of the year award in Oyo State. The project contributed significantly to raising awareness about national anti-corruption laws and international instrument on corruption; improving transparency among youth and empowered citizens who are victims of corruption to come forward to petition ICPC for redress.
