Anti-graft Agencies meet to explore strategic development

Thirteen senior managers consisting of three female and 10 males of 12 Anti-Corruption Agencies (ACAs) participated in a workshop on "Strategic Planning for Optimal Result" from 4 to 8 April 2016. The workshop, which was held at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) , Badagry, covered topics such as: Strategic Plan and Management; Strategic formulation process; human and financial resource management. The managers shared their respective agency's strategic plans, compared gaps in their formulation and implementation and exchanged on how to prioritise. Improved strategic planning and management skills among anti-corruption agencies' senior managers play a critical role in enabling Anti-corruption agencies to fulfil their mandate, and thus, the current government's anti-corruption stance.

This activity has been supported by UNODC project 'Support to anti-corruption in Nigeria' with funding from the European Union.
