Expected End of Programme situation

By the end of the integrated priority programme in 2005, it is expected that the capacities of the government agencies and civil society organizations will have been strengthened for active implementation of the programmes of the National Drug Control Master Plan. Following the implementation of specific projects in the largely integrated four-component programme, there will be reforms of drug control laws and policies, increased prevention and reduction of drug abuse, increased national law enforcement and control measures, as well as greater coordination of drug control programme activities in Nigeria.
