UNODC Projects in Peru

UNODC’s Peru Office is located in Lima. Since 1985, UNODC has been working together with the Peruvian Government to implement the national drug control strategy. With a budget of US$26 million, UNODC is currently financing seven projects in Peru. These focus on:

• The elimination of illicit drug production through alternative development;
• Policy support;
• The prevention and reduction of drug abuse; and
• Creating partnerships to enhance UNODC's efforts.
