Staff from the Prison System of Panama hold Debate on Ethics in the Context of the Penitentiary System
On 9 April 2014, within the framework of Project "Supporting the prison reform in Panama" carried out by UNODC and the General Office of the Prison System, it a workshop was held to debate the approved Code of Ethics for Prison Staff, targeted to prison managers as well as officers from the Prison Training Academy.
In addition, the Technical Consultative Opinion (TCO) No. 004/2013 prepared by UNODC in order to analyze the main causes of corruption within the prisons and identify mitigation measures, was also presented.
