New Delhi, India: ‘United We March’ – Art of Living Youth Summit

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime is participating in a national youth summit organized by the Art of Living, as part of its Volunteer for a Better India initiative. The summit will bring together 900 youth from different parts of India to create awareness on the following issues: (i) HIV and AIDS (ii) declining child sex ratio & sexual and reproductive health (iii) drugs & substance abuse (iv) good governance-voice against corruption (v) entrepreneurship (vi) millennium development goals and environmental sustainability, and (vii) girl safety issues. UNODC will be conducting the anti-corruption workshop where participants will learn about what corruption is and what are the areas of our lives where corruption permeates.

Volunteer for a Better India is being organized in partnership with FPAI, UNODC, UNFPA, UNGCNI, UNICEF, UNMC, Heroes Project, DRISHTEE, INERELA + (Asia Pacific) - IICA, and APAC - VHS.
