India: National workshop for CBT Managers

UNODC, in partnership with the National Academy of Customs, Excise and Narcotics (NACEN), Government of India has initiated a Computer Based Training (CBT) program for drug law enforcement personnel in South Asia. The UNODC-developed CBT modules have been installed in the NACEN headquarters in Faridabad and its eight Regional Training Institutes (RTIs) across the country, with regular trainings being conducted for law enforcement personnel.
UNODC in collaboration with NACEN will conduct a refresher workshop on 15 and 16 September 2011 for the all NACEN CBT Managers at Chennai. The CBT managers are responsible for designing, monitoring and evaluating the CBT courses.
The objective of the workshop is to:
1) Enable the CBT managers to design better CBT courses based on the specific requirements of individual trainees
2) Obtain feedback from the managers on the trainings conducted so far and offer troubleshooting assistance
3) Evaluate the CBT trainings that have been conducted so far
