Thirty-Fifth Meeting of Heads of National Drug Law Enforcement Agencies (HONLEA), Asia and the Pacific

The 35th Meeting of Heads of National Drug Law Enforcement Agencies (HONLEA), Asia and Pacific Region will be held in Agra, India from 22-25th November, 2011. The meeting is being hosted by the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN), Gwalior on behalf of Government of India in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). About 100 participants from member countries of the Asia Pacific Region, members or associate members of the Economic and Social Commission of Asia and Pacific (ESCAP) and governmental organizations will be attending this event.
This is the second HONLEA meeting which is being hosted by the Government of India. The previous meeting was held in 1983 in New Delhi. The meeting is aimed at strengthening efforts to address illicit drug production and trafficking and to improve coordination at the sub regional and regional levels.
