  • Australia - National Illicit Drug Strategy The National Illicit Drug Strategy demonstrates the Australian Government's leadership in the fight against illicit drugs and strengthens its commitment to combat illicit drug use through a sharper focus to reducing the supply of drugs and on reducing demand.

  • Canada - Canada's office of Alcohol, Drugs and Dependency issues: Drug Strategy
    The Drug Strategy and Controlled Substances Programme (DSCSP) manages the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and its Regulations and plays the lead federal role in the coordination and implementation of Canada's Drug Strategy.

  • Europe - European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction The European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction provides information concerning drugs, drug addiction and their consequences for countries of the European Union. Information focuses on drug demand, demand reduction efforts drug strategies and policies of individual nations and the European Community; International Cooperation and the geopolitics of supply; international efforts to control drug trafficking; budget and grant data and implications of drug abuse for producer, consumer  and transit countries. Includes links to the Centres' publications, departments (Epidemiology, Demand reduction, Information strategies, Communication Resources and administration), REITOX (the European Information Network on Drugs and Drug Addiction) 15 national information centres and affiliated organizations. 

  • The Americas - OAS/CICAD The Organization of American States/Inter American Drug Abuse Control Commission - OAS/CICAD has links and documentation in Spanish and English, including National Policies and Drug Plans as well as treatment Regulations in Different Countries.

  • United Kingdom - U.K. Government Tackling Drugs to build a better Britain: The Government's ten year strategy for tackling Drug Misuse. Presented to Parliament by the President of the Council Command of her Majesty, April 1998. 

  • U.S.A. - U.S. Office of the National Drug Control Policy 
    The U.S. Office of the National Drug Control Policy is the umbrella organization that establishes policies, priorities, and objectives for the U.S. drug control program and evaluates, coordinates, and oversees both the international and domestic anti-drug efforts of federal agencies. The site includes the most recent National Drug Control Policy; information on drug abuse prevention, education, and treatment programs, including those targeting children and adolescents; related issues in science, medicine, and law enforcement; international activities and agreements; statistics; press releases and conference calendars; and links to service providers, public interest groups, and resources like the Drug Policy Information Clearinghouse.
