Chair Ambassador Bente Angell-Hansen

 

Bente Angell-Hansen (born 15 December 1951) is a Norwegian diplomat and former Secretary-Generalof the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She iscurrently Norway´s Ambassador to Austria andPermanent Representative of the Norwegian Mission tothe United Nations in Vienna.

She is a cand.polit. by education, and started working for the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1982.She was Director General in the Office of the PrimeMinister from 2000 to 2005, served as the Norwegian Ambassador to Hungary from 2005 to 2007, and to the United Nations in Geneva from 2008-2011. In 2011,she was appointed the first female Secretary General of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

 

Chair Ambassador Mitsuru Kitano

 

Mitsuro Kitano (born 5 November 1957) is a Japanese diplomat and former Director-General of the Department of Disarmament, Non-Proliferation and Science of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. He is currently Japan's Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna.
