Open-ended intergovernmental expert group on data collection

The open-ended intergovernmental expert group on data collection was established pursuant to Commission on Narcotic Drugs decision 52/12, in order to review the current data collection tools and processes in order to design a simple and efficient reporting system. At its meetings, held in January 2010 and October 2010, the expert group elaborated a new annual report questionnaire, through which Member States report on their efforts and achievements in illicit drug control and provide information on the world drug situation.
