Open-ended intergovernmental working group (2008-2009)

The terms of reference of the standing open-ended working group had been prepared by its predecessor, the Open-ended intergovernmental working group on improving the governance and financial situation of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. That working group had been established pursuant to Commission on Narcotic Drugs decision 51/1 and Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice decision 17/2. The working group had held a number of meetings between October 2008 and March 2009.
