UNODC is seeking qualified professionals in a wide range of fields to join us in our efforts to combat the threats posed by drugs, crime and terrorism. UNODC offers challenging assignments - monitoring drug abuse and trafficking trends, helping States achieve substantial reductions in drug supply and demand and assisting countries in forging new partnerships for tackling important issues such as money-laundering, smuggling of migrants and trafficking in human beings.
Around 3,000 people work at UNODC headquarters in Vienna and in field offices around the
world.
UNODC is committed to gender parity, geographical diversity and the inclusion of persons with disabilities in its workforce.
The United Nations-wide
Gender Parity Strategy sets targets for equal representation of women and men. The office's efforts to achieve gender
balance are based upon the UNOV/UNODC
Strategy for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (2018-2021). The overarching target is to achieve 50/50 parity
at every staff level of the organization. In order to enhance geographical diversity amongst UNODC staff, the office follows
the UN Secretariat's Geographical
Diversity Strategy. In line with these diversity goals, UNODC encourages applications from female candidates as well as
candidates from the following UN regional groups: African
Group, Asia-Pacific Group, Eastern European Group, and Latin American and Caribbean Group.
UNODC is committed to providing reasonable accommodation
to applicants and colleagues with disabilities.
Today's globalized crime and drug problems can be fought, but only with the best and the brightest on our team.
