Personal Growth Training at the Office in Ashgabat

On August 22-25, 2017 UNODC Programme Office in Turkmenistan (UNODC POTKM) arranged four-day training on Personal Growth for staff and volunteers. The training included four sessions and aimed at capacity building, skills development and motivation of attendees. The training was conducted by invited trainer, Mr. Tahir Garipov.

During the training, participants got opportunity to learn effective presentation skills, improve communication and administrative skills, develop an integrated approach to the solution of various issues of business communication, and formulate goals and objectives.

Methods of oral and written business communication, negotiation skills and strategies were studied during the course. Big attention was paid to personal and professional qualities of employee and interaction with colleagues and managers.

One of the sessions was focused on time management. Staff and volunteers learned prioritizing and situation analysis techniques, planning and organizing working and private time.

The whole training was conducted in interactive form, aimed at a practical side. The organizers believe that the event will benefit to career and personal growth of participants. The UNODC POTKM, in turn, creates favourable environment and opportunities to further improve the effectiveness of the office operations.
