Women in Police

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Programme Office in the Kyrgyz Republic issued a publication "Women in police".

It consists of 10 human interest stories of women with different policing background contains stories of women tackling on the importance of promoting gender sensitivity, eliminating gender stereotypes in the police structure and women's professional growth, difficulties that women face in masculine structure and ways to succeed. The success stories of 10 inspiring women are aimed at advancing the role women in law enforcement and promoting better access to justice for women and girls.
