Short description:
Elder abuse is often referred to as a hidden crime; many older adults carry this tragic secret to their graves. This concern led the individuals involved with The Restorative Justice Approaches to Elder Abuse Project to seek a healing, safe approach to elder abuse. The project evolved from in-the-field experiences of the project's partners and a survey of relevant literature on elder mistreatment.
