Expert Group Meeting for the validation of the module series on Organized Crime in Francophone Africa

 

UNODC's Education for Justice (E4J) initiative and the Université des Sciences Juridiques et Politiques of Bamako (USJPB) convened an expert group meeting on the premises of the university, in Bamako (Mali) on 25-27 September 2018. The meeting gathered around 25 academic lecturers and trainers of police and magistrates academies from various Francophone countries in Africa and it was aimed at adapting the E4J university module series on organized crime to the needs of the countries and institutions involved, including by incorporating best practices, lessons learned and relevant cases from different countries of the region. The meeting also served as a space to train the participants on the content of the modules and the teaching methodology suggested.
