||Republican Public Organization Belarusian Association of UNESCO Clubs (BelAU) is a nongovernmental organization of the national level that unites UNESCO clubs working for the advocacy of humanitarian principles and ideas of UNESCO in the fields of education, science and culture. Clubs join youth and adults and act at secondary schools, gymnasiums, vocational schools, youth and children creativity centres, universities, independently.
Every one of the age from 12 years old who shares the ideals and principles of UNESCO and desires to support and participate in the Association programmes can be the BelAU member.
Goals of the Association:
-Increasing the people's awareness on UNESCO activities issues;
-Involvement of children, youth and adults into the activities on advocacy UNESCO principles and ideas;
-Education of children and youth to be real citizens of their country with an active position.
Objectives of the Association:
-To hold educational and training programmes on different UNESCO issues for youth, children and grown-ups;
-To carry out professional, cultural and scientific exchanges for youth, children and grown-ups;
-To spread the information on UNESCO issues;
-To publish materials in educational, cultural and scientific fields;
-To develop UNESCO clubs network in Belarus.
