||Hope Village Society (HVS) one of the Egyptian NGOs that started its activities since 1988 and considered a pioneer NGO dealing with the phenomenon of street children in Egypt. HVS’s mission is to provide attention, care, education and training to children in different circumstances.
HVS focuses on those living on the streets of greater Cairo, 10th of Ramadan and Alex, It helps around 8500 children every year by providing them with shelter, healthcare, education and skills development.
HVS's program includes 17 centers ;- mobile care units and reception centres, where children can access shelter, psycho-social support, and vocational training. also have a small-loan scheme available to the families of street children, run as part of their reintegration strategy.
In support of these direct services, Hope Village provide technical support and training to government workers and other NGOs working with street children in Egypt as well as adopting an advocacy campaign to advocate for the rights of street children in Egypt with focus on young street mothers.
