Short description:
JNATIP is focused on human trafficking, violence against women and has been working on the issue of human rights abuses of foreigners living in Japan. It is comprised of a network of solidarity NGO lawyers and researchers who clarify the reality of human trafficking in Japan, the law and the details of effective punishment of perpetrators and victim protection and assistance. Established in October 2003, JNATIP's aim is "to prevent trafficking, protect the affected people, to help recover from damage and to punish traffickers.
