Short description:
The Center for Transparency is a membership based anti-corruption research advocacy group dedicated to the principles of Transparency and Accountability. It was founded in May 2004, by three young, enterprising social entrepreneurs who became convinced that much of Liberia's civil wars were tied into corruption and the unequitable distribution of the nation's wealth.

CENTAL has adopted a new structure that promotes transparency and accountability, and broaden ownership and stakeholders in the organization. CENTAL new structure incorporates a National membership Meeting; A Board of Advisors; A Board of Directors and a Secretariat that is headed by a Director.
