||IACPCLJ is primarily devoted to issues of criminal law and criminal justice. The NGO is also devoted to combating organized crime, particularly with regard to trafficking in persons with special focus on research projects and prevention programs. In 2011, the NGO attended the international conference, “Criminal justice responses to trafficking in Central and Eastern Europe.” Following the “Symposium on Trends and organized criminal groups in central Europe,” it started implementing evaluation reports in relation to their conclusions. The organization also regularly carries out training activities for the police, prosecutors, judges, prison staff etc., and is involved in the formation of new strategies to improve and streamline the fight against organized crime.|
