Short description:
ARDA is a non profit organization working in the field of human rights and promotion of health. The main mission is to promote harm reduction related to drugs, advocating for a more human and effective drug policy in Argentina where drug users as citizens are not discriminate. ARDA is developing several programmes in the country with drug users marginalized, young drug users in open scenes, users of synthetic drugs in raves parties, users of free base and glue in streets and shantytowns, users of alcohol in concerts. Some programmes have been supported by Global Fund, World Bank and UNAIDS with a collaborative work with official agencies as National and Regional Ministries of Health. We have training activities in main Argentinean cities especially Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Cordoba, Bariloche and Usuahia and assessment to national deputies and senators on drug related proposals of laws.
