Short description:
Leadership Watch (LW) is a Non-Governmental Organization committed to the promotion of responsible leadership through research and documentation, trainings and conferences. LW is in Special Economic and Social Consultative Council Status with the United Nations. It was established in January 1999 by Dr. Martins P. Iwuanyanwu, a clergy, civil rights activist and development expert recognized internationally for his expertise in issues related to emerging democracy.

In the last ten years, LW has organized Annual Lectures/Awards, which is a major event instituted by Leadership Watch, aimed at bringing together state actors, civil society practitioners, captains of industries, entrepreneurs as well as Scholars for intellectual discussions on how best to transform and reconstruct the Nigerian nation in particular, and African continent at large, for a better tomorrow
